To enable your Live Site, navigate to Settings > Configure Chargebee. Choose the Payment Gateways you want to integrate and click Enable.
Then you can select the Product family, Plan, Currency and Frequency. You can also define Price-points for Plans, which will be displayed in your Checkout page.
Chargebee – Paymill API
Chargebee’s Paymill API gives you the ability to process payments made by your customers using Paymill. This ensures that you don’t have to handle the PCI compliance requirements associated with your customers’ card information and helps relieve you of any potential issues.
You can configure a customer’s payment methods and mark one as primary while another is set as backup to ensure that you don’t lose revenue in case one fails. In addition, you can set Smart Routing rules that allow you to pick a gateway account for a specific payment method type based on the currency and the payment method that is selected by the customer.
A subscription is a collection of products and services that your customers have signed up for on a recurring basis. Each subscription has its own trial period, pricing and payment options. You can create subscriptions through Chargebee’s web interface or via the API.
Chargebee – Paymill Payment Gateway
Chargebee’s Paymill payment gateway enables you to accept card payments from your customers. It is a secure and reliable payment gateway that protects your customers’ credit card data.
A customer enters their card details into the checkout page and the gateway encrypts them and sends them to a secure server to process the transaction. The issuing bank then authorizes the transaction based on certain factors like sufficient funds etc. Then it conveys the results to the card network which in turn relays them to the merchant bank processor and finally to the gateway.
The Paymill integration in Chargebee allows you to add Card as the payment method to your Global Payments account. You can also use the Auth and Capture option to authorize and capture funds in your customers’ card for a period of 7 days.
With more and more customers paying online, you need to make it easy for them to pay their bills. Give your customers more options to pay by offering them a variety of payment methods like cards, Direct Debit (ACH), bank-based payments (iDEAL), digital wallets or even offline payments for large transactions.

Chargebee uses customers to store all the details of a subscriber, including billing & contact information, card details, and payment mode. This allows your customers to login to their self serve portal and make changes to their account, without contacting you.
